'Enjoy It While It Lasts' came 26th on NME's Best Albums of 2012 list, higher than Lana Del Ray, Paul Weller and The Vaccines' efforts.

wow and my uncle said they were rubbish obviously not Indeed The critical response to the album's been interesting... NME seemed pretty impressed, while Q for some reason thought they'd been ripping off The Killers. I guess you know you've done something interesting when you polarise opinion like that!

Everyone I've played the Spector album to are now ardent fans - i'm recruiting an army! Problem is it didn't get enough radio play so not enough people heard it. Though, to be honest, i quite like my favourite bands to be my little secret

It's definitely one of the best albums released this year. [quote author=vinuup board=general thread=4 post=12 Though, to be honest, i quite like my favourite bands to be my little secret [/quote] Same! I kept telling my best friend to listen to them. Then when she finally said she had and she liked them I was like no they're my favourite band.

I did introduce my friends to Spector at the beginning of the year when they still pretty unknown... But after the album came out in the summer you'd be surprised how many people have actually heard them already!

At least once or twice a week I get texts from friends/relatives saying stuff like 'in a shop and Spector's on the PA' or, 'just heard Spector on Eastenders'... Brightens up my day!
